YCN approached Owen to provide character design, animation and illustration for a Cancer Research - SunSmart project aimed at Primary School children called Cool The Monkey.
Owen worked alongside YCN to develop character designs for th main star – Cool The Monkey and his sidekick Buddy The Pig, The animations were written by YCN before being storyboarded and animated in Flash by Owen.
The final product was a package of videos, posters, stickers and activity sheets sent out to schools all over the country.
