The Chartered Institute of Building sponsored a page in the 2008 Student's Careers Calendar and were looking for an illustration along the lines of Valentine's day.
Design agency Crumpled Dog commissioned Owen to produce an isometric illustration and typeface to depict a team of builders constructing a giant love heart.
